Position Overview:
This is a roles for highly motivated Registered Nurse to progress in their nursing career in a management role. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff, managing resident care, and ensuring that all nursing protocols and procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the nursing and healthcare staff and ensuring that they are providing high-quality resident care
- Managing resident care by developing and implementing nursing care plans
- Ensuring that all nursing protocols and procedures are followed
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the nursing and healthcare staff
- Providing guidance and support to the nursing staff
- Participating in quality improvement programs to ensure that resident care is continuously improved
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive resident care
Requirements
- Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Minimum 2-3 years relevant post registration experience.
- Post registration qualification in gerontology and/or dementia care is highly desirable.
- Demonstratable clinical and professional ability, leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland
